Achievements and Career Highlights

Highlights of Achievements (2007–2020):


  • E-Xalcha (Electronic Carpet):  One of my first Flash games, selected to represent Azerbaijan at the 53rd Venice Biennale (2009) as part of the Khatt Art Group.
  • Interactive Multimedia Tour “Gobustan”: Contributed to a project that helped Gobustan, an ancient Azerbaijani region, gain recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Art Nouveau Architecture CD: Designed and developed an interactive multimedia CD that led to over 40 historic buildings in Baku being declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  • Career Growth Template for McDonald’s Azerbaijan: Created a design later adopted by the corporation’s Eastern European Division.
  • Senior Art Director at DDB: Trained and mentored junior designers and marketing team members. Together, we launched successful campaigns, including for BRAVO, Azerbaijan’s first and largest hypermarket.
  • Novelwall (London, UK): Beyond graphic design, supervised a development team in Chennai, India, optimized workflows, and implemented cost-saving marketing material concepts.
  • Consultant for Latvian Design Team: Guided concept development for local branding projects, participated in brainstorming sessions, and contributed to focus group tests.

Recent Experience (UI/UX and Startups):

Over the past 4–5 years, I have specialized in UI/UX design for mobile and web platforms, participating in various startups:


  • Bakupay/Payonix: Oversaw monitoring and supervision of a loyalty program.
    Batcha: Contributed to the development of an innovative social platform (website/app).
  • BOOST: Provided consultancy and sketched the initial structure and hierarchy.
  • Ospree (Crypto Compliance Software): Supervised and adapted UI using Atomic Design principles.
  • Tokenizer/BlockX (Crypto Wallet + Neobanking): Restructured and redesigned the application with Material Design 3 standards.
  • At Saffron, Azerbaijan’s largest restaurant group, I transitioned from Visual Communications Manager to UI/UX Designer, where I conducted extensive UX research to restructure the corporate website. This included developing a user-oriented interface, improving functionality (e.g., online booking, centralized reviews), and contributing as a Front-End Developer using WordPress and Elementor.

Freelance Motion Design and Video Editing:

Passion for Growth and Technology:

In my spare time, I:
  • Explore emerging technologies (currently experimenting with Blender, Unity3D, and Spline).
  • Take professional courses (currently completing Google’s UX Research Certification).
  • Learn new languages (currently studying Korean).
  • Design wooden board games (e.g., Shelfshift ) and build custom cat wheels .
  • Experiment with photography and solarography.
